DOUG LANTZ
Doug Lantz, founder and project manager at Lantz Custom Woodworking, began honing his woodworking skills in high school where he participated in shop class and woodworking competitions. Shortly after obtaining a degree in engineering, Doug began his new business venture, Lantz Custom Woodworking.
Doug brings unique expertise to LCW. His love of woodworking and 20 years of professional experience designing and building finely crafted pieces have created an uncompromising standard of quality at LCW. Additionally, his proficiency with computers, understand of design and equipment capabilities have allowed LCW to expand their woodworking skill set. Under his leadership, LCW has successfully completed projects ranging from small custom furniture to mid-scale production runs of candy display bases (typical order quantities of 7,000 pcs) to large commercial projects like the Performing Arts Theatre at James Madison University.

DICK LANTZ (IN REMEMBRANCE)
Dick Lantz became and business partner with his son, Doug, at Lantz Custom Woodworking in 1999 and worked in sales and office management until he retired in 2012. Even after retirement, Dick continued to be involved in the business as long as his health allowed. In March of 2018 he passed. His enthusiasm for Lantz Custom Woodworking is definitely missed.
