This article by Laura Wilkins in JMU’s The Breeze praises the newly renovated Duke Hall. The building provides a home for the School of Art, Design & Art History at JMU, and includes a large woodworking shop used by students. The renovation was designed by Gund Partnership.

Along with our new television commercial, we suddenly have some nice video documentation of our finished work. It really does communicate something that would be difficult to say with photo– fine woodwork is not just 3-dimensional, it’s actually 4-D.
We think a lot about the way you will interact with our cabinets, doors, and furniture. That’s why we make sure that your finished product has no sharp edges, and that things work as they should both now, and for years to come. We have a new ad that is now airing on our local Virginia television station, WHSV TV3!
We are hoping that participating in the local economy in this way will bring us more fantastic customers here close to home– and sometimes it’s just easier to communicate what quality woodwork can look like with video.
